Ran across this little tool recently and ordered it from Amazon. It is amazingly useful. I plant a lot of cover crops from seed and this little tool will make that a breeze. I'm also toying with rigging it up on my garden tractor and seeding grass in "the back 35".

It is surprisingly light and comparable to the hand operated ones...throws a good pattern.

It is very useful especially if you also use the DeWalt line of tools for compatible battery. I'm actually going to give it a run on seeding Argentine Bahia on the pasture areas of "the back 35"

I spent about 1 hour today running the above seeder on "the back 35". Just me and my golf cart...and we covered about 1/4 of the property...no battery change. The seeder performed perfectly. I mixed pelleted ag. lime about 60/40 with the Bahia seed to get good disbursement and add a little to the low ph soil.

Very pleased with this little seeder and will do the entire property with it...even though it is designed for lawns.
