Just curious if anyone has experience planting tomato or pepper seeds directly from the fruit without drying and saving them?

Yep, been there and done that. Both responded favorably. The only problem I had was way too many germinated and because the seeds were not separated it was a bit of a mess....better to separate the seeds first. 🤠

A lot younger me had an allotment and one 'old boy' who had a greenhouse would put his best tomato on the bed by the door and step on it, then prick out the seedlings come Spring.
