Seed isolation bags?

I'm not sure how, but I came across this idea a few days ago looking at something or other online and I became intrigued. Do any of you have any experience with using seed isolation bags? As it is, I usually clip the flowers on my basil plants so that the different varieties are not going to seed at the same time and cross pollinating.

I wonder if seed bags would be worth the effort. Any thoughts?
