I have my schefflera about a year and a half now. About 5-6 months ago the new growth started having dark brown spots on them but they managed to develop anyway. The spots are still visible on the leaf. Currently, all the new little leaves that start growing become brown and die off. The plant is in a sunny spot, I water it regularly but also am careful not to over water. In my apartment the water is very hard so I leave it to sit overnight before I water my plants. Recently I started watering the schefflera with bottled water but this also doesn't help... Can you please give me some tips and advice? Here are some photos:
