Hello Everyone
This past weekend it rained for a few days nonstop. The result was soggy flowers and buds. I never had this happen before where and how do do I remove the flowers and buds?

You can cut off the flowers or snap them off with your fingers. I’d wait and see how the buds do though. No need to chance missing the flowers if you don’t have too. Plants are pretty hardy so give them a chance to recover from their drenching.

Greetings, welcome to the Forums.

There is no need to immediately remove the flowers. Wait a day to see if they recover. Buds will likely have a better chance to emerge unscathed than open flowers. Whatever is permanently damaged can cut them off when convenient.
Depending on the type of Iris, individual flowers usually last a week or less, even in mild, dry weather.
