Hello all. Due to an overspray from my sprinklers, I now have a patch of my palm tree bark that is orange from the rust from the well water. Is there a way of removing the rust without harming the tree?
Oxalic acid is used to remove rust stains and is harmless to most plants and does not harm the soil. Or, you could try white vinegar 50/50 with water. Or you could use phosphoric acid and it won't harm the tree either.
