Cor what gorgeous photos! I love the snowdrops and crocuses :love: Looks like a very nice place for a walk! There are lots of canals round here, but they don't all have good paths.

I wasn't aware of that before @zigs - what an interesting history (and clever idea!). Hopefully they can stay like this, rather than lined with artillery :LOL:.

The Hythe carnival is held annually on the canal. I have always thought I'd like to go and watch that, but never have. Maybe this summer we will..........

In hindsight, they could have named the flowers Napoleans and he would have stopped iI suspect.
