Hello all,

Nice to be in touch with all the rose lovers.

I have few rose plants on my roof top garden. I see that the sepals open up very early and hence the roses petals are not held tightly until blooming. Also, I see the petals are malformed and curly.

I am not sure if this is caused by some nutrient deficiency or some pests.

Would appreciate help and advice.

Thank you.

Oops. I am sorry. I don't know. It is a grafted variety purchased from a local nursery. In India, the nurseries don't put out any name for the rose plants.

Forgive my ignorance, but how can I find out the name?

No problem. Just that identifying roses isn't that easy. Often if the name is known it helps in identifying known variations etc. From your photo, I'd say everything is OK.
