Root mealybugs, mold, or both?

This is my poor cat palm, got several pests atm but I am trying to get an accurate ID on what is the main culprit before I pot up.
I found this today in the drainage holes and got out my macro lens for a closer look... All my pest issues seem to be originating from the drainage holes lately.
Any insights are appreciated. Thanks guys

That looks like mycelium to me and not bugs. Fungal colonies composed of mycelium are found in and on soil and many other substrates. It won't hurt anything.
