One of the few wild greens you can harvest in the winter.
Grows on the coast on cliffs and walls.
Fleshy leaves with a pungent aniseed flavour, bit strong on it's own.
Cooked some up on Mackerel fillets .
Covered up so it lightly steamed and adds flavour to the fish.
Didn't cook quite as well as I'd like as the wind was taking the heat away from the pan, but went very well with the oily fish
