This looks like the Orchid Rockrose (Cistus x purpureus), a well-known hybrid of the Red-spot Rockrose (C. ladanifer) and the pink-flowered C. creticus. Labdanum, the fragrant oily resin used in perfumery is obtained from the leaves of Cistus ladanifer.
Skanberg's Rock-rose (Cistus x skanbergii) is a natural hybrid of the white-flowered Cistus monspeliensis and the pink-flowered Cistus parviflorus. It occurs natively in parts of Sicily, Cyprus, and perhaps Greece, but is widely grown for ornament in Mediterranean-type climates.
