Those strawberries are going to need a lot more room! Too bad the holes on the side are so small or they could spread there. When you transplant them you could use the drum for composting, it's perfect for that as it has built in air holes.

I think they will be ok Chanell as they will tray over and then I shall plant the baby runners into post.

It was a great idea to use the old washing machine drum as a planter. It looks really nice. But, first of all, your strawberries are gorgeous, they're so healthy. Lol, it's another thread that makes me hungry. I must eat some delicious strawberries soon:D

Those strawberry plants just look HUGE ! It looks like you will be having some great strawberry desserts before long, if they all get berries like the ones in the picture. Mine were just planted, and are growing, but it will be a while before I actually get berries from them.
