Seems every year I have a problem with Powdery Mildew on my Squash.

I've sprayed it with a number of things but it is still there.

Truth I have about given up trying to grow Squash.

Any ideas?

I watched a video recently on Migardener youtube channel about powdery mildew. Before the video I just cut off the infected leaves but after watching the video I tried a baking soda spray. 1 teaspoon to 1 qt of water. Overnight I had clean leaves. Seems the mildew happens in a neuatral or higher ph so when it rains the leaves have the perfect ph for mildew. The baking soda lowers the ph. Spray once a week or after a rain. It works!

Baking soda would raise the pH.

Armadillos are the trouble Beast today.

Not worrying about Mildew now until next year.

But I did pick the most perfect Tomato today. It was a Montgomery.
