Hai,
My portulaca plants are getting affected in a regular basis by a continuous white dots over the entire stems .I went through many forums and initially thought like it was mealybugs.Eventhough mealybugs problems are also there, this is not looking like a bug ,rather it will cover all over the plant as white tiny marks .it will slowly deteriorate my entire plant within some weeks .I have tried many solutions but none of them giving me good results. Normally in such situation I will repot my plant to a new pot ,but after growing to some extend, the same will affect that plant also..I had many portulaca varieties before but due to this issue , almost everything dies off..please help us to come out of this issue.

I hereby attached some of the images of the plant which you can easily identify the problem

Welcome to the forum @Girish

I`m afraid you have scale insects there - horrible little sap sucking creatures. There are several different kinds of these. Nematodes may help, or use alcohol or neem oil to wipe them away.
If you think the infestation is really out of control it might be best to put the plants on the bonfire, and start again.
