Just moved house and unidentified bush......feel guilty because we did have one in our last property!!
Believe it may be fussy when pruned?

Agree with Martin, could be the yellow leafed variety of Choisya. If so, To prune Choisya ternata Pruning in the UK, trim lightly after its main spring/early summer flowering to maintain shape and encourage a second bloom, removing about 25-30cm (10-12in) of flowered stems, or hard prune overgrown plants in spring after frost risk, cutting back hard into old wood for rejuvenation, with always using clean cuts to promote healing
