I am attaching a picture of my spider plant - you will see some of the leaves are turning yellow and losing their spring. Is this something I should be concerned about?
If you are sure you haven't over or under-watered, then too much fertilizer in the water or the soil can cause the leaves to be discolored. Too much direct sunlight is not good for spider plants and can cause burning to occur on the surface of the leaves, or too little light will make the leaves turn yellow.
https://homegardeners.in/spider-plants/#How_to_grow_spider_plant_indoors - scroll down to - soil type - its strange - my friend grows his in a glass of water & they thrive , when he gave me some to take home - I do the same - but they dont thrive - they look thins & sad .
Maybe his tap water is different to mine ??
