We planted a blood orange tree with plenty of sunshine. This was last week The bottom leaves are a little wrinkled. When should our tree start to bloom. Thank you.

How old is the tree and is it grafted? Most if not all are grafted and it usually takes 2-5 years for a grafted tree but for a more definitive answer you need to know how old it is.

Hello Chuck and thank you for responding, it is year and half old. We bought the potted tree at Sam's. It has not been grafted.

Chuck, when we bought the tree, it had two oranges growing, which we ate last year.

If it is not grafted it was grown from a cutting. The cutting produced fruit last year and you planted the tree in the ground this year? If so, I doubt if it will flower this year but next year it should start producing.
