This came alongside a slew of other flowering plants I inherited from my mother over 20 years ago (all thriving btw). I managed to ID all of them except this one. It never really bothered me until it bloomed a few years ago in our newly renovated 2nd floor sunroom. So what is it? thanks

I`m not sure, but I think that`s a spider lily :confused: .....oh, and welcome to the forums ..(y)

Thank you and thanks for the welcome! I typically avoid lilies (the wife is allergic to most types) and I'm far from an expert, but yes I believe it's related to the spider lily as well. There are some subtle differences but looks very similar. Perhaps because this specimen is at least 30 y.o. that this variety just isn't favored anymore? Shame too...this bloom rivals some of my epis.
