Thanks for the lists zigs. I really got into the plantlist.org quite a bit; had to stop because I was getting to involved and had to get on with other things. Perhaps a separate section with that kind of info could be added. I'd also be interested in any free botany classes online, really would like to take one.

I do tag different trees for identification. That makes it easy for me to differentiate herbs from flowers. I have different types of flowers that beautify my compound.

Thats an excellent resource for plant identification. The disadvantage on my side is that I come from the tropics and am not sure it would apply here. I studied botany in college and would love to create a database of poisonous and medicinal plants. I would appreciate any information for grant acquisition.
