If you have space, and have the urge, plant a few extra vegetables.
We plant all we can cram into our vegetable beds, and take the extras to the local food pantry. Check with your local soup kitchen or food pantry to see if they can accept fresh produce from family gardens--local laws vary.
Believe me, going into the food pantry with a basket or two of fresh vegetables to share gives you a lot of happiness, and the recipients are happy, too. It doesn't really matter how much you have to donate, whatever amount you have helps a family, an elderly person, a handicapped person.
Sharing is one of the best parts of gardening!
