Hi,

I bought a house in Southern Ontario that was owned by an established gardener many years ago. Every year we see many types perennials grow, bloom and then disappear. Since I am not a gardener myself I need help identifying some of them. I already did my homework and googled many of these types. Some times I succeeded in my identifications and some times not. So let us start with these Pink flowers and green to purple leaves.

This dark-foliage cultivar is Penstemon digitalis 'Husker Red'.

The species, Foxglove Beardtongue (P. digitalis) is widespread in eastern North America.
