Evening All,

Big houseplant lover here, I've got quite a few and keep regular checks on them. I've had this pilea for a couple of years now, maybe just under, all of a sudden it's looking poorly. Just slipped off a yellow and brown leaf from the bottom and there are some small brown blotches on some of the other leaves. Really annoyed as I've been carefully looking after this for sometime.

Possible issues, my mum watered the other day, when it already had been for it's weekly water, I wait until it's dry. So now it's wet. I only recently reported, maybe 3 months ago, might have to do it again now.

However, I recently changed to rain water, not sure if that could introduce bacteria? The other plants seem fine. Other than that I use filtered water. Not straight from the tap. Also bananas skin water.

Could any of these cause issues? Can I save her?

I was going to snip off blotchy leaves, which is nearly all of them, and repot. Or maybe just repot for now.

I often mist with houseplant mister. On the leaves and in the soil.

Thanks in advance.

When was it last fertilized and how long has it been since it was potted into new soil?
Hi there. It was last fertilized about a month ago and repotted I believe back in spring. Going to check roots for rot and maybe repot in the terracotta pit picture with better drainage and to help absorb water. It's been thriving in recent months, but last few weeks curling leaves and yellowing lower leaf.

Would it be oke to repot now and cut back the dead leaves. I do so with the outdoor plants, so guess it's the better time? Or maybe not as light is lower in winter and colder temps.

This is the state of the roots, not squishy or black.

Regular potting soil with a bit of extra perlite is fine for that plant to be repotted into, just don put in a pot more than an inch bigger than what it's presently in. Too big of a pot, thereby too much root room keeps the soil wet for too long.
