PGR when do you use it before or after hedge clipping ?

Hi all .
Is PGR ok to ground drench after trimming , if so does anyone know how long after is ok to use it ?
Apparently it takes 4 weeks to take effect going off online research .

I have heard some bad things about plant growth regulators and I believe them to be unnecessary. Also, at this time of year, when your hedges will shortly be exposed to freezing weather, any new growth will not be mature enough to survive those temps. I would just put a shovelful of compost, as a mulch and leave them be; they'll put on new growth in spring. Just my opinion.

I had only heard of growth regulators being used on grass, but I tend to agree , I would rather do an extra trim than add organic chemicals I don't really understand to my garden.

It is spring here . My hedges are very established and super healthy . I am in Australia .
