Dear all,
I'm new to this forum and to gardening.
I have planted this tree in my grandmas yard like 1 year ago, or even more.

The leaves were always green (although just in this summer we could spot some more leaves than before). Now they have turned red. Is this color common of the season or does the tree have a problem?

Thank you for your help.

Greetings, welcome to the Forums.

Oriental Persimmon (Diospyros kaki) in the Ebony Family (Ebenaceae), is a deciduous tree. The leaves should change color and drop at this time of year. As far as I can tell, everything looks normal and healthy with your tree. At the end of Winter, remember to check the ties on your tree stake. Reset the ties and reposition the stake if necessary.
