Hi all,
I was hoping you could help me identify what is causing these holes in my bell pepper plant. See pics below. One of the leaves have a very thick spider web or cocoon of some sort. I have a banana pepper plant right next to it and does not have any holes in its leaves or appear to have any pest pressure at all.

Thanks all!

My pepper's leaves sometimes get that. For me slugs were to blame..I use a repellant to mostly control it. You can find good variety online.

Slugs were the cause of holes in mine as well, and I found they didn't touch another type of pepper next door. I reckoned they had fussy tastes :) Iron based slug pellets cured the problem.
Holes like that are usually slugs, caterpillar type pests usually eat from the edge of the leaf in my experience. The web nest is probably spider's eggs, when they hatch they eat their way out and you have lots of tiny spiders appear. Some people hate spiders, I would always rather have them than the things they eat :)
