Peas

I'm in zone 6b, the last frost was yesterday, it doesn't take to long before we are dealing with hot weather. I was just curious if I could start another batch of peas, if I plan to give it afternoon shade or if it's to late to direct sow them. Thanks!

They might still grow, but the yield would be very low and not very tasty....
