Hi, does anyone know about growing green peas? I have tried two years in a row in different spots in my garden to grow peas and they start off looking really good. They then turn yellowish and die off. they were in new soil each year and got lots of water.

That might be the problem. I used to be really bad about overwatering and probably still am a little bit.

Peas fix Nitrogen by themselves so are you fertilizing? Innoculating?
"Treat the pea seeds with a pea inoculate prior to planting. An inoculate powder coats the seed with rhizobia soil bacteria that allow the plants to produce their own nitrogen. Treat seeds by placing the moistened seeds in a paper bag with the inoculate powder and shaking the bag until the seeds are coated. Sow treated seed immediately."
