Peach Air Layering Failure

Hi there,
I tried air layering on my Peach. Didn't use root booster and used potting mix. Result after six weeks, as in photos. Any guidance will be highly appreciated.

I can't see your photos sorry. You have to seal the score area very well or it won't take because of drying. Also make sure you use an external cover that prevents all the light from getting in too. Start the layering in Spring when the plant has just started budding well. That way by Fall you should have roots. Good luck friend.

Thanks for your reply. This means, it will take like 16 weeks not 6 weeks.
