Peace Lily placement?

So I have this empty space on my bathroom wall. It's a section of wall that's like an archway over the bathtub, so it gets basically no light. I want to hang a peace lily there; but the section of wall is only maybe 1.5 ft tall. I don't want to put the peace lily in a hanging basket because it will hang in the entrance of the bathtub. So I was thinking of getting a wall planter and somehow positioning the peace lily horizontally in the planter. Does anyone know if they can grow and survive this way or if it will need to be planted straight-up?? Thanks!!

How about air plants, or jade plant? No light is a bit dodgy though!

Or a Streptocarpus? It likes moisture and indirect light and won't grow very tall.
