My peace lily was my best and proudest plant. The first picture was him last month. He started drooping a little so I watered him and he parked right back up. A couple weeks ago the soil felt dry two knuckles down so I watered him again. I should have waited until he looked thirsty. The second picture was last week. He had been slowly sagging all week since I prematurely watered him. I took a bamboo skewer and tried to poke holes around the edges to help dry out the soil underneath. It didn't help. The last picture is him today. I don't know how else to help him. Please tell me what to do.

Peace Lily's have strong roots and I'm guessing that your plant needs a bigger pot with some new soil. They also need to be fed regularly. I give mine a liquid tomato feed every two to three weeks.

That soil actually looks pretty dry. A thorough soak at least every other week is typical for them, depending on light and temperature.

I got one last year and read up watering instructions that said water from the top until it comes out at the base.
Big Rockpile always maintains that they don't flower unless there is some root constriction, mine hasn't since I put it in a larger pot, but it has grown lots.

They do like a lot of water. I haven't fed mine for quite a while and it's stopped flowering - laziness on my part.

See, I was afraid of over watering, because I've gotten into trouble with that before. This past weekend, I replanted the peace lily into a dryer cactus blend of soil. After watering the soil thoroughly, I fed him 2 cups of water with super thrive mixed per directions and let that sit and soak up for a couple of days. There does not appear to be any change, however. I forgot to mention that he was happy in the bedroom and only started drooping after a watering and moving to the living room. Since then, he's been in the back room with brighter light. Should I move it back into the bedroom where he was happy?

Having repotted the plant it will take a few weeks to settle its roots again so will look sorry for itself. I have my doubts using a dryer cactus soil will do it any favours, sorry.

I also looked up the food you have used and it seems that it is more likely to promote top growth and roots than flowers. I suggested liquid tomato food in an earlier post, it would be worth trying it over the next few months to see if there's any change.

I agree with Oliver, a bright room without direct sunlight on it is best.

If it is moderately to very bright, it is almost impossible to overwater them. They can even grow in standing water if it is warm and bright. The closer you get to ‘Tropical Rainforest’ conditions, the wetter they can stay. Cactus mix stays way too dry for them.
