Parsely inside

I am thinking about planting a few herbs inside for the winter months. Has anyone had experience planting parsley inside or is it more of an outdoor type of plant?

Personally, I haven't tried growing it indoors yet, but my mother has grown it on her windowsill for a few years already and it grows really well, it haven't caused her any problems. It's great because she always has fresh parsley.

This is good to hear. Since I like to add parsley to potatoes and soups I figure it will be nice to have around consistently through the winter. Also, I thought I had planted parsley seeds in my garden, but as everything grew in I realized that I placed more dill where the parsley was going. Thank you for telling me this. I'm going to give it a go.
