Hello

Any advice on how to save my palm? The leaves at the top are all brown and it shows no sign of recovery. I have read about cutting it back if the top is dead but not sure how to check. I don’t want to kill it if it will recover on its own.

I believe they’re gone. If salvageable, the crown would show some life by now.

By the end of the Summer, you would see new palm continue to grow out.

Start at the top. Cut down about 2-3” at a time until you find firm green growth. If you get to the bottom the plant is dead. It is a Cordyline, which is not a palm, so it can branch if the stem is alive.
