You don`t need the granules - there is no benefit. You can sow grass seed anytime now unless there is a frost. It would be best when there is rain forecast, or else water after sowing.
I have read that you should wait 4-6 weeks after using evergreen 4-1 as it has a chemical in it that stops germination of weeds etc and therefore may stop grass seed germination.
You already had your answer then. As I said, you don`t need those granules - there is no benefit. When your grass is eventually up, keep mowing regularly with the blades fairly high. This will keep your grass nice and green, chop off any weeds that come through, and mulch the clippings back in to feed the growing grass.
