Overflow in the cat shelter

Buddy and Cali share the shelter. Buddy likes the company, and Cali likes something warm and soft to cuddle up against. Occasionally Buddy loses control of an appendage and dangles a leg out.

There is a back door to the shelter, also, and occasionally we walk by and see a ginger tail hanging out.

So sweet. my one outdoor cat, who refuses to come inside, got a new cat house this summer. the old one was ready for the burn pile. She had been living in side the house with her brother, who passed on. Now she is outside alone. But her mother and another brother like to come inside the house, they visit with her I guess. The outside house has a heating pad on the bottom, insulated all four walls, has a front and back door with flap for ease of escape, sits up 3 feet on legs on the deck, positioned next to the house which adds protection from the winds. Thought I had a pic. maybe later.
