Hello!
Our pumpkin plants are doing great with an uncountable amount of male flowers, and every so often, a few female flowers pop up. The problem is the female flowers go yellow and fall off the plant at a tiny size. Do you know why this is?
Also, do you know how long it takes before you can pull out a ready carrot from germination?
Thanks;):ROFLMAO:

The females are not being pollinated. Carrots take anywhere from 70 - 90 days from seeding to harvesting depending on variety.

Thanks about the carrots but the thing with the pumpkins is that the female flowers don't even open though they still go yellow! So they don't get a chance to be pollinated.
Thank you again!:)

It could be because your nighttime temperatures are not right. They look like young plants so be patient.

You could try a potassium feed as well, and, since you have so many, and need so few, remove 2/3rd of the male flowers.

Welcome.

Hello!
our strawberry plant is constantly giving more babies - which are too giving more babies. Never have any of them given any strawberries! Do you know why this may be?

Also, how can i tell if my papaya plants are male or female?

Thank you!!!
