 That big Pennsylvania rodent claims he saw his shadow today! How is this possible with total cloud coverage, and snowing like nobodies business.

Punxsutawney Phil, the world’s most beloved and furry seasonal prognosticator, has seen his shadow on Monday morning (despite overcast skies), portending six more weeks of winter.

The groundhog’s predication came around 7:25 a.m. in Punxsutawney, Pa., with overcast skies and scattered snow and rain showers moving through the region from the latest winter storm — conditions that are likely to continue if the plucky marmot gets his way.

I thought for sure we had this early spring thing sown up this year.(n)

I just finished shoveling snow up to my waist around the greenhouse. Had to stand on pails to brush the dammed stuff off of my solar panels,. Still got the smaller greenhouse to brush off/dig out. I've got some low shelving i want to move in there and I'm not waiting for spring!

My rodent got into the greenhouse and had it away with half my onion sets.

He'll be lucky if he sees spring at all :ninja:

So

USA rodent predicts long winter

Canadian rodent says no

UK rodent passes on photo shopped potatoes, eats onions and ignores the issue entirely.

I think the rodents are teasing/goading us all!
