Got up 5AM take care of the animals, eat breakfast, read my Bible and clean up.

I was to get a shot for my Cancer.we drive 2 hours to get there, they get my vitals.

Come in there we don’t have stuff for your shot. I went ahead and got my Flue Shot.

Got a place I enjoy eating Catfish. Took one bite told my wife they have someone new cooking. Waiter come by I told him the Fish was overcooked he offered another meal. I told him no but it is overcooked.

Made it home.

My wife has decided to use Raw Milk and make Bread. We shall see.

Don't know how things are in the US, but raw milk used to be the main source of TB historically in the UK. We make our own bread, in a breadmaker. Magic machines, do all the kneading and stuff, but my main thing is looking at all the addatives in shop bread, there is a great long list of ingredients if you buy packet bread. The bread maker uses yeast, flour, oil or fat, salt, a bit of sugar for the yeast, and water, six basic ingredients. It doesn't keep for a week like shop bread, but that's usually because we eat it in a couple of days tops, delicious.

I found this interesting...especially so since I grew up on raw milk myself. I even had a small dairy selling raw milk for $.50 per gallon and sold all I had every milking. Those cows helped enable gaining undergraduate degrees for this now old gardener.... something I could have never afforded without them. Never had an instance of TB that I know of relative to the product I sold and consumed.

I checked with the cdc.gov and found that: "In the U.S. today, raw milk causes less than 2% of TB cases."

I suspect that is in part due to the significantly reduced use of raw milk. Now, I wouldn't trust any raw milk unless I personally knew the supplier and had inspected their processing methods. I was super careful with my product and people came from all around to purchase it.

I wonder if any research has been done on the long-term health of individuals raised on raw milk vs the processed most use today.

I’m a retired Baker and have made a lot of bread in my time.

We use to make very good bread and started making what I considered crap.

Several companies didn’t want their bread made that way buy eventually gave in.

We make bread occasionally from scratch but I can never make edible rolls, baps, these small round things or what ever you call them.

We was buying Rolls you had to let rise and Bake. Mom always said we had the best Rolls. Never told her what we did.

Use to be we run one shift of nothing but Hamburger Buns for Mc Donald’s.

Those "baps" seem unique to UK. I tried to find some in USA because they sound interesting but couldn't find any...even on Amazon. :(

@Meadowlark and @Sluggy below are what we know as baps, they are soft rolls.

And crusty rolls.

They are both standard rolls that can be bought in any supermarket.

Ok, got it now @Sheal . That top one is just what we call rolls and mostly call them dinner rolls.

The second one I don't see here.

It's a long time since I've eaten black pudding @Sluggy , unfortunately my gluten free diet has taken a lot of food off my menu.

The baps are available in a long form, known to us as finger rolls which can be filled with sausages or frankfurters etc.
