As you like, but I think it does no harm, and may encourage others to walk even if they don't post. It is an excellent way of getting exercise, and manageable as you get older, can't see me doing pull ups or star jumps anymore.

My first water butt taking water from the roof was starting to smell, so I emptied it and cleaned it. There must have been about a hundred litres of water in it, and a lot of dead leaves. I wasn't going to waste that so i took it up the top of the garden. I carried about a gallon at a time to save my shoulder and watered the greenhouses, beans, carrots, leeks, loads of stuff, which meant a lot of walking. I have been getting in somewhere between 3k and 3,1/2 k of steps around the garden most days, today was 6866, and I carried a lot of water. Not as good as I first thought for a second or so when I looked at the dial upside down, 9989, 'No, can't be, right, it isn't'.

Nice to see you dusted off this thread @Oliver Buckle

Without any major project currently, my steps are averaging 6 to 7 k per day...doctor says I should get back above 10k. Oh well 🤠

Opinions seem to vary, I have seen it said that anything over four or five k is beneficial, and that is not the only exercise a gardener gets, it's not like being an office worker who goes for a walk.

5219, it's gradually going up again, usually not much over 3k if I am just in the garden, but we had a short walk.

I hope it goes well for you.

Today it was 14,273
The boys have to be walked separately so that's how i get my steps in.
Thanks,
By "Boys" I take it you mean dogs, otherwise what sort of children do you have that you have to walk them, and separately? :)
No counter in my pocket, don't know where I left it.
