That would make a nice average, didn't record mine, but I guess a bit lower, spent a lot of the time in the greenhouse potting on tomato seedlings, it was dry and a bit sunny, but really cold with a noticeable wind, time for an inside job.

Went to Royal Surrey hospital for a pre op for my GI ST. There is a surprising amount of walking on public transport, especially when you miss the stop on the buss because the windows are so steamed up and have to walk back one. 6978 when I got home, be 7k before I am done, but I put the phone down so I'm not counting. They didn't like my cardiogram, I may not get the op.

6181, got in a short walk between showers. Looking like it's going to drizzle all day today, don't think I will get far.

It’s been lovely in Bedfordshire all day today - springlike. First time it hasn’t rained and drizzled virtually all day here for weeks. So cheering to see the sun all day, and the days getting longer too.

well, the sun came out here just before 4 and i thought I would get a walk in. Just around the corner a pickup towing a trailer was coming down the road, so I stepped up on to the verge and tripped over a stone. Stuck my arm out as I fell and dislocated my shoulder. So much for my healthy walk, I have just got back from the hospital and am typing with one finger.

Ouch! These days, with psoriatic arthritis, degenerative disc disease, osteoporosis and both hips replaced I stick to well defined paths when I walk.

Speaking of walking. Here is a super video I came across today, and it describes exactly the kind of changes I have felt over the past three years of walking on my little walking path.

I truly envy you! I ache to get outside but my garden is like an ice rink with soaking wet clay. It’s been awful this year with neverending rain and drizzle. Chilly too with North Easterly winds.
If you make a walking path and walk enough to compact the clay the clay will dry faster after a big rain.
