That is a very good mention, Oliver!but of course if you are working in a garden you can exercise your butt off digging over a large flower bed, and only walk twenty steps to the shed to fetch the spade.
Sometimes when I shovel snow or dig in the yard, I'll set the tracker to a General Workout setting. It counts "reps" for what that's worth, but I like to view how much time I spent in each heart rate zone.
Why?
Beats me, but it's fun to see how lazy or energetic I was at the task. The device adds time in certain heart rate zones to the Weekly Intensity Minutes tally. I set up a Goal Reached Alert for 200 minutes in the "Moderate" intensity zone or 90 minutes in "Vigorous" and set Moderate to be 75% of my maximum heart rate and vigorous to be 85%. (It adjusts as my age changes.) One has to be in that zone for 10 minutes for the time to be counted.
All not Mission Critical stuff, but fun and somewhat motivational!
