I have Fish Emulsion 5-1-1 but there is Alfalfa Meal Meal 2-1-1.

Which is better? The Fish emulsion is Liquid and I have it. The Alfalfa Meal is dry and I would have to buy it.

' Better for what? ' would not be an unreasonable question. The alfalfa would add some vegetable material, but you could be adding the fish to something vegetable based; some things like their nutrients provided subtly, some like to be slapped in the face with them.
One you have to pay for, the other you don't even have to go out, liquids mix well, the meal would make a good topping.
I could go on, it's six of one and half a dozen of the other, unless the thing you want to use it for dictates one is better.

You mainly need water. if you want to start a fire use ammonia. But watch out at 5% ammonia you best mix it with 10 times the water. No more than 1% or 5x. The protien from the bacteria and then the fungus is gonna have nitrogen so give them water to help them rot it.

Had a Deer given to us and we put the cleanings in the Wheelbarrow.

It rained last night and there is some water in it. Thinking of adding more water then take the water in a Bucket and pour it on it.

Figure the Blood will work.

I use both, fish emulsion for feeding all my seedlings until they go into the ground and my vegetable beds get a couple of feeds of organic alfalfa pellets over the first half of the season. I also add some pellets to my compost tea on occasion when I want to boost the N content. They both have beneficial nutrients not found in the other and a big bonus to alfalfa is its content of triacontanol, a natural growth stimulant hormone. Alfalfa tea make for an excellent fertilizer as well but it gets pretty ripe as it brews.

MFA Propane in Lebanon Missouri.

Never have I seen a place with a Regulator for each Appliance. Hey all my Appliances have built in Regulator's.

Been arguing with them all Summer. Heck of it is they owe me $1,500 worth of Propane.

MFA...does that ever bring back old memories...some good and some not so good.

Bought all our feed there including the feed for the milk cows that put me through undergraduate college.

I’m trying to break down Compost and need more. Going to be hard enough with cooler temperatures.
My father told me that in the old days, in the old country they would put yeast in the compost and that it didn't take much. He lived in the mountains where it got really cold.

I do that to my pile, along with chopped up leaves. The pile releases steam in winter if I put a shovel to it. Usually I use a few packets of baking yeast, other times I use septic tank enzymes just before the first snow is predicted.

Sometimes the simple, old way works best.

Old plastic bags turned black side out and piled in a block where the sun falls on them do it for me, better in Summer of course.
