It is so much better to use the newspaper pots instead of the plastic ones. They aren't hard to make either and the plants are happier for it!

I heard of newspaper pots before, in my opinion it's a great idea. I don't have too many flower pots and those that I have are pretty big. So when I needed something to grow my cuttings in, I made a few paper pots. It took me no longer than 10 minutes:D

A great idea for recycling old newspaper, looks quick to make as well and think they could be very useful in the short term, especially for seedlings, but my biggest concern is how the newspaper would stand up to continual watering, and what would happen, when you then picked the pots up, would they disintegrate.
