My first question is i have a lilac tree that i need to move , its approx 8 foot tall , when is the best time to move it and any tips to keep it healthy during the move ?

Hello @kel and a warm welcome to the forums. I can't answer your first question, but someone here can. We all ask questions, answer questions, and share information and experiences. You might want to start a new thread for your question. I would probably put it in the "Trees, Shrubs, and Hedges" forum and title it something like <<how to move (or transplant) an 8 foot lilac>>. This way your question will be viewed by the members (as a new thread), and you will receive a better response. Now your question is hidden in your <<i'm new here>> thread where many people may not see it.
