Hi everyone hows things ? We just got a new lawn laid say 2 months ago . Prior to that bein laid, i dug some of the garden up where it was bare and patchy and reseeded it. That didnt work , so new lawn laid. So looked ok first few days, but huge patches have appeared , looks like where i dug prior to new lawn laid. Any ideas on solving this?

Sure. Just show us a pic of the tree or building that is helping that fence create too much shade first ok? Also, dogs? If you have sun, no urine issues, then tree roots can suck the soil but that spot looks more like something in the soil. Its not a big area so it can be dug deep and replaced worst case. Have you used insecticides for grubs and such? Fungicides? Sprayed fertilizer? Double spraying these new weed killers like MSM can be toxic to all plants.
