New Gardener, just tilled up the lawn, please help

trying to build a small farm from my lawn
just planted yesterday

i tilled up the grass, but now i got pine needles, helicopter seeds and chopped up grass on my soil
should i blow away the needles and seeds every day?
and how do i get the grass out of my lettuce?
no idea what im doing
please help
still think farming is cool lol

I have heard it is best to plant what you like. Some folks burn their grass, some folks walk barefoot on it. One thing I might help with is pointing out that leaves or needles above a garden make for a shade garden.
