Neat Noise

Sitting on my deck this morning with coffee, my usual place. I am just looking out to my garden etc. Decide to blow my nose and up pops a dear in the valley garden to run deeper in the woods behind my house. Thinking nothing further about it, then I hear this noise, it was like a raspy air noise every 30 seconds or so. Looking about further from my deck I spy a small brown object, it was a little fawn eating something. Finally after the raspy noise had gone on for about 10 times it move away into the woods. So thinking it was the mother yelling at the baby to get out of there.

directly after the fawn moved, the noise stopped.

Fortunately in my area we see only a few that is why all my hostas up in the front of the house go untouched. They don' t seem to want to walk up that far.
