So I dont have a before pic because I did not think the Orchid was going to pull through.
It was brought home , bloomed out and left for dead by my wife.
The leaves where yellowing and withered. That was October 2021.
I placed it in the kitchen window NE facing. Bought some Miri cal Grow Orchid food. Mixed half strength and watered the plant every 6 weeks It took until Mid Jan to get the color in the leaves back.
April 1st I switched to a full strength feeding every 2 weeks and watering if the “soil” gets dry.
Well Finally the leaves are Full and green and I have NEW growth. Did not think this plant would make it. Now the long wait to see if it blooms again.

Hi!

Your orchid looks quite healthy now! I think because it was stressed it will take a while before it blossoms again (I had a similar situation with mine at home). You can try to speed up the process using some potassium fertilizer, but if the plant just recovered, I would not stress it too much.

Well its been a long road from near dead to 10 leaves and Im pretty sure this is a flower stock. It looks much different than the roots that have sprouted.

Eager for a bloom. These Orchids are slow growing and blooming.
I hope this blooms for a long while.

All i did was use Miracle gro for Orchid
I used a 1/2 diluted mix every 4 weeks until the green started to come back to the leaves. Watering if it dried out between. Then I switch to a full mix every 4 weeks then it started to grow new leaves and roots.
I did that up until late summer.
Now its a full feeding every 2 weeks per directions. Water as needed if it dries out. It seldom dries out.
Will see how things go.
Im debating keeping it after this?
