Hi,
I’ve recently bought my monstera about 6 weeks ago. the plant is completely healthy, but i’ve noticed some white pigmentation on the leaves(top left). It doesn’t seem to be anything to be worried about so i’m wondering could this be the start of variegation? If so, will future emerging leaves have more of this?
Thanks

Hi Logan,
Hi @Dan14 and welcome to the forums
I can only see a few white spots on the leaf. It could be some insects underneath.
Hey,
That's what I had thought originally, that there were some pests on the leaf or it was starting to rot. However I've been looking at the white marks for the past few weeks. They've stayed exactly the same and seem to just be in the leaf like pigmentation. Is there any chance that there's some sort of variegation there? I've got a new leaf coming from that one so I'm just hoping there is.
Thanks!

I am not sure what I am looking at. There appears to be a green leaf with something behind that leaf that is green with couple of short whitish streaks. The green/white does not appear to part of the leaf in foreground. It's very confusing and to be honest ( no I'm not saying you did) but it looks a bit photo-shoped.
Perhaps a photo from different angle might be clearer.
