Hi, previously posted asking if there was book or info about monstera (Del&Bor) variegation but been unable to find anything.
Apologies for asking a dumb newbie question but until recently never heard of their variegation.

I bought a couple but am soooo confused by it all.I think Albo is always white and aurea is always yellow but what makes white Tiger and creme brulee not an Albo and something else I also am confused by the green variegation. Some of it looks green but some bits look green with white paint spilt over it (photo 1)
and even more confusing a couple of plants described as bor-albo bor-aurea but have beautifully weird green variegation having several shades of green in the green bits (photo 2&3) Can someone give me a newbies guide to the monstera D&B variegation/colours/types and what my baby plants are. Yes there's a lot I had 2 for me and one for a friend but couldn't resist 4&5 pretty green colouring so will keep 3 share others

Leaves of variegated plants of all kinds can show different shades of white to yellow. Not anything to stress over. Each leaf will do what it's inclined to do.

Monstera variegation is notoriously unstable and reversions and pattern changes happen a lot. Basically there is green and white and green and yellow. All the other 'varieties' will switch back-and-forth and occasionally turn all green. It's just the way it goes.
