Mold? Fungus? Soil surface

We recently found patches of this growing in a couple of our raised beds. Actually, we noticed while watering. When the water hit the stuff, a cloud of dust came off/out of it. We've researched and simply cannot find what this stuff is, or even if we need to worry about it. Any information at all would be extremely appreciated.

Nothing to worry about. It is just a fungi that is maturing. The dust you see are spores. These types of fungi help break down organic matter. There are literally thousands of different types.
